About Me:

My family is from Guyana, South America, which basically means there is a rich and wild influence from the West Indies, India, and Great Britain in me. Sunlight and nature are close friends of mine. I appreciate things that are bright and radiant, bottomline. I love experiencing the uniqueness and brilliance of different cultures and ethnicities. Europe has become a kindred spirit of mine, but I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee, and dabble in poetry and songwriting. I appreciate different types of music, but my favourite bands and artists are Coldplay, Florence and the Machine, Corinne Bailey Rae, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Damien Horne, Darnell Levine, Clinton Baber II, Sam Cooke, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, and Patti LaBelle!

Music, art, theatrics, poetry, and dance are like radiant colours that simultaneously splash across the canvas of my life. Each colour is significant to me and each colour speaks to the depths of my soul: always healing, liberating, enlightening, and awakening who I am! I am extremely inspired by Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Mother Teresa, Anne Frank, and Corrie Ten Boom. Their lives still speak! If we listen, we can be transformed by their voice and influence, experiences, hope, pain, and generosity!

Alfred Hitchcock, Tim Burton, M. Night Shyamalan, and J.J. Abrams have definitely influenced me. Their creative genius and classic work has inspired me! The poetry and short stories I write are intended to awaken the senses with a hint of melancholy and heaping dollops of irony. I love to add elements to my writing that are vivid, breathtaking, and mysterious. There's always a paradox because the poetry is simplistic yet complex. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as I do. 

You will quickly notice I am like a labryrinth, random but make sense. I have many quirks, idiosyncrasies, so here are a few: 
I am obsessed with where things derive, http://www.m-w.com, and the orgin of names. I am mesmerized by fiery red hair and freckles; I love adoption and hope to be able to adopt a child from India and also a red head with freckles! I wish I could adopt every child who is without love and peace, and give them a home full of endless joy, hope, and safety!  My birthday is in August, probably why I love, crave sunlight so much; I am a Leo if you care to know. My favourite colour is gut-wrenching, earth-shattering green, RADIANT GREEN! If I had a trinity of my favourite colours, it would go in this order: GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE!
