KISSED WRITTEN BY MARINI BARIKA FACEY OCTOBER 26, 2010
Silence breathes.
Trees sway in compromise to the wind.
A paradox swims in the air like an orchestra...
Silence breathes a decrescendo.
Whispers echo a crescendo.
The wind moves like invisible men set on fire.
Burning!
Violently yearning!
Is the wind spinning to put out the flames?
Are our wind-burned faces kissed by kindled fire?
Smoke dances around us but we walk on unaware.
Burning!
Violently yearning!
Men on fire longing to be free...
The wind sweeps through us like wildfire, but we walk on unaware.
Do invisible men run among us...
Kissed by the wind spinning around me, I sigh and breathe it in.
