Sprinklers become hands
that scatter water like stars
across the universe of a child's mind.
Japanese Maple leaves
frantically move in the wind
like Mozart's fingers.
An encore audiences adore,
tends to be a bittersweet score;
like hearts that break,
summer releases its leaves.
Spring's trees
whisper unknown melodies
over the future like seeds,
transported by Autumn's breeze.
Leaves swirl and fall like snow
and pull me into a whimsical dance.
Leaves twirl and call like stars,
galaxies far away that I've seen before.
Who would of thought you can hear lightning
and who could have known you can see thunder?
A voice moves across the waters.
This voice kisses mountain tops!
A voice like a trumpet
thunders over me
and through this cave of wonders.
Your memories,
become carved into my existence;
your words are engraved
on this cave of wonders!
Who would of thought you can hear lightning
and who could have known you can see thunder?
I could never know enough...
I could never do enough...
I could never be enough...
...but eternity still chooses to be
the tapestry that infinitely wraps around me!
I can hear lightning...
I can see thunder...
Wonder,
this very splendor,
echoes in me!
