I love when photography meets music and then they kiss!
Inspired Music+ Breathtaking Photography= Radiant Art I am definitely on an art kick; I love art anyway, but I love how it can mean so many different things to different people. Enjoy the art because it is healing.
Music washes away from the soul the dirt of everyday life...
~Berthold Auerbach Without music, life would be an error... ~Berthold Auerbach Art washes away from the soul the dirt of everyday life... ~Pablo Picasso I love Prince William, all my friends know it, so I could not resist posting this picture of he and Serena Williams; I like her a lot too.
Today I feel physically weak, but my mind is like, "lets go!" "What's next?" "Move it!" It's a good thing my soul is there to keep both my mind and body balanced, so I'm not in a frenzy.
Last night when I got home, my cousin pointed at a fortune cookie on the table and said, "that's for you cuz." It wasn't a spiritual moment, and a lot of times we have to take those cookies with a grain of salt. One time I had one that said, "You are a happy man!" There was another occasion where my good friend Jake Z. got a cookie that said something like, "I hope it's sunny today." These two stories are my fortune cookie disclaimers, because you may never get a reasonable one. After I went upstairs, I forgot about the cookie. When I finally opened the fortune it said, " Do not rush through life. Pause and enjoy it." All of you probably expected me to say it said something profound like, "E=MC2" or "move left right now!", because something may fall on my head. No, nothing profound, just simple words. I brought this fortune up because today I feel weak, but my inclination is to be hard on myself, break myself, or do all the things I want to do anyway, even though my body is throwing out red flags. We love to strive and push ourselves, but really that shouldn't always be our propensity. The same thing goes for those whose inclination may pendulum swing towards the opposite direction. There is a difference between being lazy and being weak... We need to decipher the two, so we can produce balance and wholeness. Whether we lean towards being lazy or striving, both are damaging to our lives. Live your lives in such a way that you take time to pause... SABBATH=STOP When we take a moment to stop, it gives us time to assess our lives, and access balance for our body, mind, and soul. Another one of my friends, Dave Spring, has this analogy I will never forget! He describes the importance of a tripod and how it evenly disperses its weight on each legs so it can hold everything steady, but if one leg has more weight than the other, it will fall; this example of how vital balance is, applies to our body, mind, and soul. They must work with equal momentum in order for us to maintain balance in our lives. If any of these are lacking, we lose momentum... SABBATH=STOP We must assess so we can access... Perfect love drives out/casts out fear...
We seriously need to look at fear the way it should be looked at, as a pest. Some may say that they aren't bothered by rodents and insects, and that they don't really care if they are around. Ladybugs are cute... They aren't cute when there is an infestation. What if there were thousands of rats running around in your home? Spiders... Ants... Fill in the blank... If we look at fear from this perspective, we wouldn't allow it anywhere near us, because it brings along annoying friends. We can also now see love in a new light. Love isn't fear, so why are we so afraid. Love makes us bold and confident. Love doesn't ask us to be perfect, but it accepts us and then challenges us to grow. If we see love as a nemesis, we are missing out on so much life. Love can come into our relationships and bring clarity, whereas fear only brought along pests like confusion and insecurity. Perfect love drives out/casts out fear... |
