We seriously need to look at fear the way it should be looked at, as a pest. Some may say that they aren't bothered by rodents and insects, and that they don't really care if they are around.
Ladybugs are cute...
They aren't cute when there is an infestation.
What if there were thousands of rats running around in your home?
Spiders...
Ants...
Fill in the blank...
If we look at fear from this perspective, we wouldn't allow it anywhere near us, because it brings along annoying friends.
We can also now see love in a new light. Love isn't fear, so why are we so afraid. Love makes us bold and confident. Love doesn't ask us to be perfect, but it accepts us and then challenges us to grow.
If we see love as a nemesis, we are missing out on so much life.
Love can come into our relationships and bring clarity, whereas fear only brought along pests like confusion and insecurity.
Perfect love drives out/casts out fear...
