Annabelle quietly, hesitantly enters Antonio's room, sits in the chair where the other man once sat, and begins to read from her journal to him. His hand starts to move and Annabelle holds it tightly and continues to read, nervously sharing her soul.
Antonio opens his eyes, disoriented because of his surroundings, but looks at Annabelle and says, "Mercy, what are you doing here? Where is Wilton? What am I doing here?" Annabelle becomes afraid because she doesn't know what he is talking about. She closes her journal and runs out of the room to her bedroom!
Annabelle opens her door but looks back frantically to make sure he didn't come after her! She sighs but is suddenly startled by two bodies on the floor. Wilton gazes up but then does a double take. "Isabella?" He thinks he has officially lost his mind, but he curiously glances back. He looks down at Mercy Isabella sleeping and shakes his head in denial. Her thoughts race because she wonders why both men called her by a different name. She wonders why these people are in her room. Wilton sees he has clearly frightened her, picks up her journal, and gently takes her hand. He shows her to the bed and sits on the edge with her. "What... what are you... you doing in in my room?" She feels a bit guilty because she was in his brother's room, and he could ask her the same question. She stutters, "The other man... man in the room with the... with the beeping monitor spoke... spoke to me!"
Wilton doesn't question her, he just darts out of her room. Annabelle breathes in and out repeatedly and kneels down in front of the woman on the floor. Her mind silently screams in shock. Annabelle runs and hides on the opposite side of the bed near the window.
Tears fall down her face and her own words echo and torment her! " I fear the one who took me more than the one I once feared, because at least I know his face... ...It is as if I am looking at my own reflection and that makes me feel insane! How can I escape from myself?" She pulls her knees in and rocks back and forth. Annabelle wars within herself to hold her fears at bay, but she relapses again...
