We brush our teeth.
We wash our face.
We constantly look into the mirror.
We want to make everything appear to be just right, but still turn away disappointed.
Our racing thoughts move faster than those who rush on busy streets. Our racing thoughts resist and push through loud crowds around each corner.
Our racing minds bombard us with every issue, disappointment, and discouragement imaginable.
We internally curse the traffic, red lights, and anything that gets in our way to slow us down.
We constantly look into the mirror...
...That's why it's so jarringly alarming that we have overlooked our marred skin, full of scars.
We want to make everything appear to be just right.
Have we sabotaged ourselves?
Our racing thoughts are like boomerangs made of shards of metal!
Our consuming thoughts sharply fly back at us like shards of glass!
