THE END or THE BEGINNING...
Exerpts from Ecclesiasties 12 and Isaiah 61
"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, 'I find no pleasure in life and length of days'--Remember your Creator before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds remain even after the rain; remember your Creator before strong men stoop and their eyes go dim..." Sobering silence weeps more loudly in this Native American abode, than the people's travail across the land! Each child listens closely because they know this wise man's words have come true before. "The wind comes upon remnants and puts a fire in their eyes. Oh how their faces shine! They tote the heavens in a sack and carry good news to the poor and brokenhearted. They free the caged souls! Our people once called these beings warnings, because they are everywhere as an urgent sign!" Sean shakes dust out of his hair, but smudges of dirt cover his face. "Ramah, let's go! My headache is gone!" "I'm afraid I can't let you go the way everyone else is going. Luca will take care of them!" "What? Did you hit your head?" Ramah stands in silence and Sean becomes angry. "Sean, you and Luca are similar. There are few of you..." "What are you talking about?" "Look!" Ramah takes Sean into a vision with fields within fields, "these symbolize the people you will meet and heal! The harvest is ripe!" "I can't leave Rebekah!" "Listen to me Sean! You have to forget all of that. I've heard about a woman who felt the same way you do, and in turn she ended up hurting the one she loved because she denied who she really is. The story goes that she got trapped in between two portals, but another remnant has to come so she can be released. Her name is Gloria... Don't make the same mistake!" "I thought I was like you?" "I did too at first because you are peculiar." "If I'm not like you, what am I? What are you saying? What does this mean?" "You are a remnant! I always thought it was a legend, but here you are! You have one purpose... to bring people to the kingdom by liberating them, healing them! You are made to reveal this labyrinth to the masses, so they will get the seal of the kingdom! All creation eagerly waits for remnants to be revealed... You, Luca, and others like you are warning signs to those who walk around and don't even know they are deaf and blind!" "Ramah, where are you taking me?!" They leap into the sky and all around them, more than the sand or stars in the sky, people are dimly lit. "These are the ones you are to speak to." Sean is speechless. He now understands that the aching inside of him was because he did not know who he was. The dreams, his grandmother, it all makes sense... He feels like a puzzle piece that has finally been found... "Sean, I am a messenger, but you are a vessel! Woe, like Luca..." Ramah is overtaken by this epiphany and ponders to himself. Hmm, Luca has to be... "You are sirens blaring like a train, letting all know the kingdom is near!"

Mysteriously throughout Russia, the entire population dreams the same dream every evening, but everyone reacts differently to it. It is so powerful, authorities fear people will rebel and riot, so they kill anyone who mentions the dream, even though they themselves all saw it too! Deep within the mountains of Asia, a blind man sees a vision that makes him weep so loudly, the entire continent trembles and quakes in horror; dormant volcanos erupt! Tsunamis and whirlwinds crush nations! Walls topple and cities fall and earthquakes shift tectonic plates in every country! Hurricanes and monsoons destroy lands and the devastation is relentless! The blind man rips out his eyes in torment, because the images from this vision are seared onto his conscience! Tucked away in the heart of Africa, ancient beings appear to billions of children! They clothe each child in burgundy and teal... Hardened hearts of heinous tyrants and violent oppressors stop beating, because these radiant creatures take their breath! Each child is feed a healing bread, fruit, and water; they are immediately transformed into ancient beings! All the other continents are now governed by Europe. Sweet favors and endless rewards quickly turn bleak because every indulgence, every desire, every need is provided for, but poverty of soul sweeps across each nation, and the people become reprobate! ...but remnants remain! Like string on a spindle, so these ordinary individuals are woven together like a tapestry across the world! Sean's excrutiating headache subsides and he comes to. He remembers everything he has seen and the dream Rebekah had about him helping nations overwhelms him! Ramah hears Sean's thoughts and reminds him he isn't alone, but conceals a secret he knows he must reveal to Sean soon! Ramah is in awe and deeply reveres him. Every remnant dies but they will rescue and liberate multitudes of people from every nation in the world! They will suffer, but their crown of glory is that they will wake a new creation...
TO BE CONTINUED! Sean grabs his head, falls to his knees, and screams because a severe migraine pulses through his temples! Ramah stays behind with Sean and tells the others to keep going! Rebekah is too far ahead with Luca, so she doesn't know something is wrong. Isabella and Wilton soon approach them and ask what's happening! "Go! We'll catch up! Go, before you lose track of where the others are going! We'll find you!" Ramah kneels down and places his forehead onto Sean's, and he sees a brilliant whirring vision! Sean is suspended high above waters and nations simultaneously! His hand is engraved with ancient writing! He sees a serpent turn back into a red dragon and water violently floods out of its mouth! It wars against Sean but it cannot touch him! Ramah gasps and pulls away; he has heard legends told over the centuries about remnants, but never met one, never knew they really existed! Ramah marvels as he leans back in... He sees henna flow, glow like bronze from Sean's hand. The sacred writing on his hand moves as if God is reading a book and turns the pages! Stephen ducks his head down, afraid of whatever is approaching! When he opens his eyes, he is blinded by two radiant beings who hold flaming swords which turn in every direction! They were decreed to block the portal to the labyrinth and those with the seal of the kingdom are the only ones who will have access! Locusts cover every part of the earth! Wailing is all that can be heard... Deep within the hills a little boy runs inside to his grandfather and he picks him up and sits him on his lap. The little boy pulls in closer to his grandfather. Sensing his fear, his grandfather says, "I want to tell you an ancient story that hasn't come to pass but it's time is nigh." Other little children run inside and sit at this Native American's feet. He knows the importance of stories and he gets mirth from being able to pass them down through the generations! This wise man deeply understands that stories help the soul heal by making it brave, strong! "I heard this story many moons ago when I was young and fast like you!" The children's eyes light up as they listen. "A wondrous woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet had a crown of ten stars upon her head! High in the clouds she travailed because she was with child and ready to give birth, when suddenly a red dragon appeared in front of the woman, waiting to devour her child! She brought forth a man child who was to rule all the nations! The child was caught up in a wind and brought to God and his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God and she would be feed there for over a thousand days! There was a voice heard like a trumpet that said, 'Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth because the red dragon has fallen from the sky like lightning! He has great wrath because he knows his time is dwindling away like sand in an hourglass!' When the dragon realized he was cast down to the earth, he turned into a serpent and harassed and punished the woman who brought forth the man child! Suddenly, the woman was given two wings like an eagle so she could fly back to the wilderness to the place where she could be nourished for a time and a time and half a time, hidden away from the face of the serpent! The red dragon, concealed as a serpent, cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, so that she might be carried away by the flood... But then, the earth helped the woman; it opened its mouth and swallowed up the vicious flood! The dragon's wrath became greater than the rage he had before, so he went to make war with the remnant of her seed..."
TO BE CONTINUED! Exerpt from REVELATION 12 The earth quakes violently and Stephen's car shakes, so he quickly grabs his camera bag and runs into the street! He watches as buildings begin to crack and topple and walls crumble! Luca trembles because everything he saw in the past is coming to pass... Smoke seeps through the cracks in the pavement and the sun and air darken because of it. Ramah and Sean lift Annabelle above the smoke with their minds. Mourning Annabelle's death, Isabella crawls over covered in dirt and soot! Wilton's smoke-burned eyes frantically look back and forth between Mercy and Ramah; he doesn't know what they are about to attempt, but he tries to stop Sean and Ramah anyway! "What if something goes wrong? Annabelle is dead, leave Isabella! Please! I don't want to lose her." Ramah pushes Wilton down with a mere gesture of his hand, because they don't have time to debate which plan is best! Annabelle's body descends as a prostrate shadow. Ramah violently chants in Latin and his eyes roll back. Sean's body feels like lightning, but he holds steady! Annabelle's body transforms into a looming vapor and Ramah hollers at Isabella, "Breathe in now! Breathe in now!" Annabelle's silhoutte vehemently forces its way into Isabella! She cannot breathe and begins to choke! Ramah chants louder and louder and screams at Mercy to inhale! Wilton weeps and Sean falls to his knees! Isabella's body collapses and everything becomes silent... Sirens wail from beneath the ground and out from the smoke appear locusts that have been given power; they have been commanded to not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, nor any tree! ...but any man that does not have the seal of the kingdom, the locusts can torment for five months, but not kill. Their torture is like a scorpion when it strikes a man! Men will seek death and not find it and desire to die, but death will flee from them! Isabella wakes, weeping the same chant as Ramah. Wilton staggers over to her and they hold each other tightly, because what they see is disturbingly frightening! Over ten-thousand locusts continue to crawl out of the earth! Rebekah screams incessantly because these creatures have faces like men and crowns of gold on their heads; they have hair like women, teeth like lions, and tails with stings like scorpions! Stephen tries to run away but falls down and loses his glasses! These locusts' wings sound like a stampede of chariots and horses! Water surges out of Ramah's mouth, but the flood doesn't stop them! Vladimir and Gretchen hear someone unlocking the door and they don't even care about being caught; they are just happy someone has come for them, until they see it is the warlock family! The witches snatch Vlad and Gretchen up in a cloak of dust and disappear! The ground where Pierre burned down the school, whistles and wails! The blood of the children cry out like sirens and everyone who hears it fears tornados are near! The warlocks land on these sacred grounds and ask Gretchen and Vladimir what happened! They do not know Pierre is dead and regret rebelling against him, because he was skilled at trickery. He could get out of any witches' snare! Their fear of Pierre is still greater! They remain defiantly silent and the witches swoop them up again like soot! Vlad and Gretchen find themselves falling out of the sky and wildly hit Irish soil. "We will ask you only one more time... What happened here?!" Thousands of voices cry out of the earth like banshees and Gretchen sorrowfully screams in torment, but Vlad doesn't flinch or break... Luca warns Rebekah that they must leave quickly! Sean and Ramah feel their strength growing the more they are together, and an unspoken alliance is born! Wilton grabs Isabella and urgently gestures to the sisters, and they sheepishly join them. Everyone closely follows behind Luca! Abby and Audrey don't know if the warlocks really spared them and worry they will not be allowed back into the labyrinth, but they humbly follow. Stephen fears the worst because he can't breathe or see, and the sound of the locusts make him feel deaf! The smoke causes him to pass out, but he tightly clutches the camera bag. A silhoutte glides out of the smoke's shadows and transports him to his yard. He wakes and that which felt like an hour was merely seconds! He weakly drags his body under the oak trees and realizes the camera bag is gone... An existential dilemma wars inside of Rebekah as she runs beside Luca. He senses her trepidation and stays silent. He knows she feels several emotions at once. She doesn't have time to deal with anything, because every choice is urgent now! Isabella slows down and Wilton tells the others to run ahead. "Wilton, I have an eerie feeling!" "Mercy Isabella we cannot slow down and we should not have stopped!" "I know but..." "Let's go Isabella!" "...but I never told you about..." "Come on! The locusts are getting closer!" They quickly jog away, but Isabella deeply dreads a recurring dream she ignored because it was too appalling! She saw three powerful beings who could do unbelievable wonders, but she never quite understood it till now. Everything is blurry but Stephen sees something running towards him! He weeps and rubs his eyes in a state of panic!
TO BE CONTINUED! Exerpt from REVELATION 9 Gloria's oak sways in the breeze, when suddenly, Luca steps out from its roots! Stephen never knew what happened to Gloria when she basked under the shade of its branches. She leaned back and fell asleep and the wind swept her through a portal. When Gloria woke, she found herself reclining under a wondrously peculiar tree, gazing at living streams! She thought it was only a dream and walked through the labyrinth with eyes like a child. She began to learn the timing of this portal and visited often to bring back the healing leaves and water to the patients she photographed. Many of them recovered quickly, which was a quandary to the staff. Tyne knew about the labyrinth because of his grandfather's journal, and he was the only one Gloria could confide in. She would have lunch with Tyne frequently. They understood each other, which caused their bond to grow. Their love was obvious and mutual. Tyne wished she could be his, but he felt he had already ruined too many lives, so he didn't want to destroy her marriage. Aiden would write poetry and songs for Gloria, and the quotes Stephen read, weren't actually her writing, they were Tyne's. She felt more alive because of the garden and Aiden-Tyne's company, but they knew the only time they could be together again, would be in the majestic garden. Tyne vowed to Gloria that he would always remember her and gave her a pin with his name engraved on the back. No more secrets. No more hiding. Gloria told Tyne a proverb, "Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed." He agreed and she knew she could not visit him anymore, but she took one last photo. She had been in the labyrinth so much, it became a part of her. Her face would glow gloriously, but she was frightened; the more time she spent there, the more the land consumed her! She started to become invisible to the normal world. Gloria soon understood that the kingdom she is a part of was formed out of what she cannot tangibly see, and what it creates displays its glory; day unto to day it utters speech without speaking, without words, without voices being heard! Luca inhales deeply because he hasn't needed oxygen and it takes him a moment to adjust to the atmosphere! He looks around and sees a radiant, golden rainbow covering the sky and runs towards it. Laurel smiles at Pierre because she knows his fate. He smiles back at her and takes a scenic route. "Where are we going?" "Oh don't worry Laurel, I promise I will get you back on time." She is relieved when she notices he is approaching Lexington Lane. Sean steps back, dazed by what he gets to witness, but doesn't realize he is backing into the street! Pierre's one track mind torments him because he must find Ramah! Stephen ducks down in his car but keeps taking photos! Pierre sees Audrey and his rage erupts! Laurel tells him to slow down, because he doesn't see Sean! She grabs the wheel and Abigail and Audrey are horrified, because they see Pierre's vehicle. Wilton screams Sean's name and Ramah frantically stands up, runs, and pushes Sean out of the way! Rebekah becomes pale because she can't imagine losing him! Isabella grabs her to stop her from running into the street! The sisters see Laurel's face morph back into the witch from Ireland and they stand still, petrefied! Pierre drives towards them and Laurel disappears! Everything slows down and his BMW explodes! Debris flies everywhere, but vanishes just as fast! Stephen's eyes widen and he wishes he hadn't let his curiosity ensnare him! Abigail bends over and vomits and Audrey holds her chest because she can't breathe; they cannot believe their lives were spared twice! Sean gets up with no scrapes or bruises and Ramah acknowledges it wasn't his strength that saved Sean. "You are like me. You are powerful!" Sean doesn't understand, so Audrey drunkly stumbles over to translate. "What? I'm what?" Audrey touches Ramah's forehead and memories flash like lightning and he regains his mind! His soul is no longer chained to insanity! Luca runs up and Rebekah feels she is in a nightmare, but he looks different. She becomes more astounded than afraid. Rebekah darts towards Luca and wildly punches his chest! "You killed my sisters! You killed them!" He weeps and falls to the ground! He knows he cannot fix or change the past, but he knows he is there for a reason! Sean runs over and holds her! "I kept seeing your face Rebekah. Your piercing eyes have haunted me for so long." "What are you doing here? How did you find me?" "This is going to sound impossible, but I met Jill and Rachel in the labyrinth. They live in the forbidden hills, but they came down to see me. I am here to bring you a message from them... I am the message even though it seems I shouldn't be the one. They said you already know this kingdom and that it is a part of you! You dream about it! Jill said you would see I am new and Rachel said I should be the one to lead you to them, because that is the only way you will be able to enter." "Please! Give me a moment, this is a lot... a lot to process..." Rebekah hesitates and hides her face in Sean's chest! Isabella marvels and runs over to touch Luca's face. "You've been there! You've been there, I can tell!" She weeps and Wilton comes over to meet this unusual stranger. Sean cannot wrap his mind around all of this, especially what Ramah said! Ramah whispers to Sean's mind, "there is no explanation for now, but I know you are of ancient blood. You didn't choose this, it chose you, because there is a war we must fight a time and a time from now!"
TO BE CONTINUED!!! "You looked trapped like a lion in a cage! Hahaha!" Laurel laughs as she adjusts the passenger's seat in Pierre's beamer. "I don't know how it happened. I didn't expect to get locked in! Thank you for getting me out of there." "No, thank you for getting me away for a bit. I never do this." "Well I promise to get you back on time unless we get trapped somewhere." Pierre smiles at Laurel as he changes gears, but all the while he plots, figuring out how he will find Ramah. He smirks to himself because he knows Vladimir and Gretchen won't be going anywhere soon. Laurel gently brushes against Pierre's arm. "Whatcha laughing at?" He clears his throat, because he was so deep in thought, he forgot she was even there. "Myself..." "Where are we going?" "I saw a little bistro around the corner and thought you'd like it, so we'll try it out." "Sounds good to me." Stephen grabs the camera, pin, and picture, hoping to find the place where Gloria developed her photos. He drives by Lexington Lane and recognizes Audrey, so he quickly turns onto Barrington Lane. He digs for the camera and stealthly pulls up closer to capture everyone and everything taking place. Stephen feels like a private investigator as he zooms in and snaps pictures from every angle. He sees something peculiar and zooms in more... "Eyes like fire? Hmm. This can't be!" Stephen's hands begin to shake but his curiosity increases. "Why are all of you out here?"He lifts the camera again. "Grandpa, remember how I told you about Rebekah, her sisters, and that aweful night?" "Yes..." "Well, I know I am supposed to help her! Rescue her... That dream I had still comes to me randomly, and the fact that I saw her in the stream..." "Son, you've gotta do what's right. We've been given this kingdom to share it, give it away." "How will I find her?" "You will know... This place is rich in wisdom. Remember, we were made for a purpose! How fitting it is that you will rescue her, because you feared you destroyed everything in her life? It was tragic, but son, you didn't mean too..." He grabs Luca's head and hugs him. "How marvelous it will be for her to experience this kingdom? Bring it to her..." Vladimir shuffles through papers on Abigail's desk and Gretchen looks for a way out. She knows she cannot explain why she is on the eighth floor in someone's office, so they do everything they can to find a way out. "Pierre, thank you! I've had such a wonderful time with you. I haven't laughed this much in ages." Pierre laughed cynically at Laurel's choice of words because he understands the ages past better than anyone. "I'm gonna head to the ladies' room and then we can head on back." Laurel goes into the bathroom and locks the door. "I left behind the one photo as you requested." Her country accent abruptly changes back to an Irish one. "No. No. Pierre doesn't suspect a thing. We have him right where we want him. What a fool? Yes, he is in the gray beamer, YTZ 211! I pretended to drop my purse and placed the tracking device on the bottom panel. We will be rid of him once and for all! When we pass Lexington Lane, I will transport into your vehicle, then BLITZ! Haha!"
TO BE CONTINUED!!! Abigail turns on her left signal and darts off to Lexington Lane! Her thoughts speed by like elapsed time and memories fly at her like debris... She knows it is dangerous if Ramah's amnesia subsides, because he will remember the ancient family! Abby is willing to take that risk because it is the only way to help Annabelle! Antonio screams at Wilton! "What is going on?" Isabella and Wilton's eyes lock in on each other in horror and they never say a word. "What is happening Isabella? What is going on Wilton? Why won't you answer me?" Audrey forgot she had Wilton on the line still. "Hello! Hello! Wilton, are you still there? We are on our way!" Antonio snatches the phone and asks her what is going on? Chills run down Audrey's body and she submissively stutters to Ramah. Wilton feels paralyzed, as if he is crushed between two walls or trapped in a nightmare! His finite logic cannot fathom this predicament! Isabella frantically fights to open the door and runs out of the car clinging to her rosary beads. Bek jumps down and catches her and they bruise their knees on the pavement. Mercy chants prayers in a trance and Rebekah does everything to get her to snap out of it! Sean cannot tolerate the random phone call, constant confusion, and how everyone seems to be deceptive and secretive any longer! He hops out of the van, slams his door, and pounds on Wilton's window! Wilton's mahogany complexion looks lifeless as the grave. Ramah's fury and frustration rises as he speaks with Audrey and his eyes become fire! "Damn! Woe!" Sean jumps back from the car and Wilton's arm catches on fire! Wilton opens his door and wildly rolls on the ground in excruciating pain! "Ah! Ah! Somebody help me! Ah! Ah!" His screams sound like shrilling sirens! Neighbors peek out of their windows, run out of their homes, and stand alarmed in their doorways! Antonio drops the phone amazed at what he's done! A strange, glowing water shoots out of Ramah's mouth onto Wilton's arm; his arm heals immediately before their eyes and they all marvel... Antonio falls to his knees next to Wilton and asks him if he is alright, but Wilton pushes him away in a panic and frantically hobbles towards the street to get away from his big brother. Antonio is hurt and confused because he is rejected. He drops his face into his knees and violently beats the back of his head like drums! "Is everything alright?" "We are going to call the police!" Abigail arrives and jumps out of the car and screams for everyone to get back inside of their homes. She feeds off of Ramah's energy and creates an illusion in the neighbors' minds, painting over what they actually see! They go back to their usual routines: get the mail, start up the lawn mower, trim the bushes, hop in the car, and converse with each other as if nothing ever happened. Sean's eyes brighten and are mesmerized by everything happening! He sees an enormous bronze bubble surround the area."How?! How did you do that?! Who are you?" "Sean, I'm Abigail. You spoke with my sister Audrey earlier, but I'm sorry, we have no time to explain now..." Abigail kneels down beside Ramah and her hands tremble! She knows what she must do, even though it could mean being killed. Ramah looks up and continues to ask what is going on? Why is he here and what is happening? Audrey looks at Annabelle in the back seat and stays far away from Antonio; she hopes her sister is doing the right thing! She is more terrified of Ramah than everyone finding out about Annabelle! Antonio's eyes become as flickering fire and Abby hesitates. Wilton gets up and slowly walks towards Antonio and his eyes turn brown again; he cannot believe everything they said about his brother is true, but he is still his brother nonetheless! Antonio asks Abigail where is the one he spoke with earlier who said he can heal and work wonders? She gestures for Audrey to come over. Audrey hyperventilates, leaves Annabelle in the car, and walks over towards them, but her feet are bags of sand! Sean watches and listens to everyone, fascinated and astonished! Isabella grabs Rebekah's hands and whispers, "I was petrefied in the car earlier because he was speaking Latin. Latin! He became more and more enraged because we wouldn't answer him, but how could we?Anything we would've said, would sound like gibberish to Antonio." Isabella weeps and Bek pulls her closer "Shhhh. Shhh." Rebekah tries to calm Isabella, knowing her soul mirrors Mercy's fear. Pierre looks out the window on the eighth floor and his eyes widen and his eyebrows raise! Whenever an ancient uses their sacred strength, a golden, flickering dome covers them. It is undetectable to the naked eye, but any ancient can see it! He smirks as he gazes into the distance, because he knows for certain Ramah is alive!
TO BE CONTINUED!!! Stephen bites into a sandwich and lifts the phenomenal photograph up to the light with his other hand. He is curious about why this particular picture was accidentally left behind for him to find. Gloria's face looks different in this photo because she has a glow of happiness with Tyne that they never seemed to have. It's like Gloria knew this patient for years, which makes Stephen wonder even more why Tyne is so significant. He drops his half eaten sandwich on the plate and walks back into his bedroom. Stephen hasn't changed or moved anything that belongs to Gloria. He looks in the closet and squeaking hangers slide to the left. Stephen stops on a specific coat Gloria always wore. He lays it across the bed and continues to riffle through the closet. Now that Stephen has found this mysterious photograph, he knows he has barely reached the cusp of Gloria's secrets. He feels a bit childish looking for hints and clues so intensely, but it causes him to feel connected to her; besides, he utterly enjoyed watching Columbo, Holmes, and Poirot growing up. He finally finds what Gloria wore in the picture and lays it beside her coat. He desperately searches through every pocket, shaking each sleeve and pant leg. Stephen laughs at himself and begins to let it go, when he notices a pin hidden behind the collar of Gloria's coat. He's never seen it before, but willing admits to himself that he didn't pay much attention to things like that about Gloria until it was too late. Depression usually overtakes Stephen because of the guilt and regret he feels, but this random photograph is restoring more to him than he will ever know. He pricks his finger on the pin and sticks his finger in his mouth. Stephen turns over the pin to wipe off his blood and sees an inscription on the back that reads, Luca. Puzzled, Stephen flips it back over and rubs his fingers over the teal and burgundy pin. It has writing in Latin, but he doesn't quite understand it. Gloria was obsessed with languages and was fluent in three; she kept him cultured with all of her fascinations. The more he discovers about her, the more he wonders how she loved him and why she even picked him. He pulls a book off Gloria's shelf and skims over it's glossary, Esse Quam Videri: Page 53. Stephen quickly flips through and guides his finger down the page. "Esse Quam Videri- to be rather than to seem." Stephen laughs at the irony of this phrase because he is learning, nothing is as it seems...
TO BE CONTINUED! "Gretchen! Vladi! Let's go! We are going to find that fireman." They leave Abigail's office and enter the foyer. "Pierre the door is locked, that's probably why the delivery guy couldn't get in!" "Don't be ridiculous Vlad, I was just out there!" Pierre tries to move the cage that blocks the elevator and becomes frustrated. He storms back into Gail's office and slams the door. Gretchen and Vladimir wait in the foyer and wish they could escape just to get away from Pierre! "Second floor, Rehab and Recovery, this is Laurel, how may I direct your call?" Pierre uses his calm, charming voice on Laurel. "Are you still available to get coffee Laurel?" "Yes! I have a break in about fifteen minutes." "Good, but I also need a little favor... I was visiting a friend but got confused on which floor to go to. Now I'm trapped on the eighth floor. You wouldn't possibly have the code or keycard to unlock the door?" "I do not but I will see what I can do. I will find out and see you shortly." "Great, I look forward to seeing your pretty smile again." Laurel smiles, bites her lip, and slowly hangs up the phone. Pierre goes back to his usual temperament and hollers at Vladimir and Gretchen to stay hidden when she arrives and he will keep the door ajar, but they must not be seen! "Why do I always have to come up with the ideas and plan?! Why are the pair of you so incompetent?!" Vladimir usually goes along with Pierre, but Gretchen sees Vlad's rising anger and quietly watches the trainwreck that's about to occur. "Pierre, I tried to say something..." "What? Excuse me? Ha, he does speak! He actually opens his mouth for something other than food!" Vladimir explodes, pushes Pierre, and pins him against the wall! He stares into Pierre's eyes, but Pierre laughs in his face. "Oh, what can you do? Your feelings are hurt?" With a stern and serious voice, Pierre reminds them that he will never coddle them! Gretchen tries to hold back her smile, because she knew Vladi would crack one day. Gretchen never understood how he could be intimidated by Pierre because Vlad is much stronger, bigger, and taller than him, but he always seems to do whatever Pierre says, but not today! "Do you feel better? Enough! Have you gotten whatever this is out of your system? Put me down immediately!" Vladimir doesn't relent. Pierre becomes fearful for the first time! "Gretchen come here and get this idiot to put me down!" Vladimir chokes Pierre and his feet dangle; he lets go and his older brother drops to the ground. Pierre frantically rubs his neck and throat, coughs, and curses at Vlad, but it is as if he is deaf. "We should get some food Gretchen. Let's get out of here as soon as possible and find Abby. We've learned that plans can change." He smiles at Gretchen and never acknowledges Pierre. "Oi! What? How dare you? You expect me to take orders from a wild man?" "Yes I do!" "Oooo, I'd like to see that! You are nothing to me! Ramah was more of a brother to me than you will ever be!" "Hmm, aren't you the one who had him killed and tried to kill his look alike? I would be scared if I were..." Vladimir pauses because he forgot Pierre didn't know about the vow the warlocks put over Ramah."What was that Vladi?" There is so much Vladimir wants to say, but in this instance, he wishes he had been silent...
TO BE CONTINUED!!! Antonio stares into Wilton's eyes and his body trembles. He asks Wilton what is going on and why he feels so strange? He turns and is calmed by Isabella's presence even though it is quite the opposite for her. She is still spooked by what Abigail and Audrey told them about Ramah being ancient. The fact that they even know his real name haunts her. Mercy didn't know stealing Tyne's journal to help Annabelle would tangle them in a web of fearful mystery. Sean parks his van behind Wilton's car and asks the woman on the phone again how she got his number? Audrey tries to convince Sean that it doesn't matter, but it is vital that he heeds her instructions completely. Abigail rolls her eyes and sighs because she knows Audrey doesn't have much tact or patience, but she always gets the job done because she is so persuasive, but apparently not with Sean; he hangs up the phone, shakes his head at her audacity, and gives Rebekah a funny look. Sean notices Wilton talking and decides to wait till Wilton comes out of the car before getting out of the van. Bek sits quietly but still inquistive of the stranger with Wilton and Isabella. She exhales deeply and opens her door to stretch her legs. "He hung up on me Abby!" These sisters know time holds everything captive in its tyranny, but ironically loop holes and little windows of opportunity create portals... Every second counts because Pierre's rage fuels everything he does even though he hides it behind a charming smile and peaceful demeanor. His revenge is bitter... Abigail pulls her car onto the shoulder of the road because Annabelle has a minor seizure. She quickly takes off her leather belt, folds it in half, and sticks it in Belle's mouth to prevent her from biting her tongue! Audrey gently turns Anna on her side, and holds her head and neck steady. Annabelle's feet curve and curl like a ballet dancer. Audrey pushes the food delivery out of the way and these sisters urgently try their best to straighten out her body! Abigail breathes heavily because of the exertion of it all and gestures for Audrey to call Wilton immediately! "Wilton, Annabelle isn't doing well!" "Woah, woah, woah, hold on! What's going on?" "Her seizures are getting worse. We pulled to the side of the road to help her, but we are five minutes away!" Annabelle worsens and violently shakes! Audrey is never frightened but she looks pale and helpless as a child! She drops the phone to help Abigail, and Wilton accidentally bumps the speaker and Isabella and Ramah hear gnawing, grunting, and kicking! Isabella cries and asks, "What's happening Wilton? Who is that?" Antonio covers his mouth appalled by what he hears! Annabelle's eyes twitch and roll back! She stops... Abigail checks her heartbeat, nothing! Audrey turns Annabelle on her side again and sweeps her two fingers in Belle's mouth and slides them across her tongue to make sure nothing is obstructing her windpipe. Nothing... Abigail adjusts her chair and jumps on top of Annabelle to do CPR over and over again, but still nothing... Audrey punches her seat uncontrollably and screams!
