The wintry wind sweetly swirls with the awakening aroma of Spring.
Green buds beautifully burst off of barren branches
and subtle shadows of Spring cover Winter like blankets of shimmering snow.
Captivating cardinals spread their wondrous wings like a brilliant painter
who rushes to brush red radiantly across Winter's colorless canvas.
Trees outstretch their barren branches like beggars with crippled hands
towards Spring's surplus and wildly wave farewell to Winter's wretched tyranny.
The sleeping sun awakens from his cloudy chambers
and caresses-kisses mother nature;
she gazes up at him and shyly blushes
because her brilliant beauty's exposed with the sun's every touch.
Winter weeps as he jealously watches the sun sensually serenade his love!
The soothing sun sweetly sings to mother nature.
She slowly seductively slides her snowy shawl off of her silky shoulders.
Winter passionately paints raging rivers of romance
to remind nature that he will return from his roaming.
Winter gathers up the snowy shawl and wearily wanders away,
hoping to win his love back one day.
The romantic sun's smile mesmerizes nature
and he gently reaches down to cover her with spellbinding colors.
Mother nature passionately wraps her arms around the serenading sun's neck;
his love disarms her and her brilliant beauty covers the earth with a plethora of radiant colors.
