I love when beautiful, inspiring Muses come into my life, but I always forget that they are just there for a moment, and then they leave. They must leave so that the new one can come!
Why do we do that?
We have watched every movie imaginable and read every book possible that had the same aweful ending, but we are so blinded by our Muses' radiance and forget.
We feel a little disappointed...
...because they were so overwhelming!
It's always exciting when a Muse comes, but it has to go; we have to let it go so the next one can surprise, ignite, and inspire!
It comes to inspire not to be admired...
Those who know me, know me well!
I dive in headfirst!
I believe it's better that it came at all... ...and chose me!
It's amazing to feel passion, longing, and desire for something rather than to be empty, hopeless, and fearful!
I may forget that it's only here and then gone, but I would rather be inspired and awakened than to not live at all!
Live and let Muses' rub against you, so deep waters fiercely rush out of you!
But remember...
...falling in love with a Muse is like falling in love with "The Sirens".
...and that's Foolish!
Don't do it...
Our boy Homer wrote about The Sirens in "The Odyssey" to warn us.
Odyssey and his ship had to pass the Siren's island. The Sirens were always singing very beautifully, so sailors would be drawn in by their overwhelming mystery! Men desperately wanted to go to them, but their ships would be utterly destroyed if they did. Odysseus warned his men and told them to put wax in their ears, so they wouldn't hear the song of the sirens. He had his men bind him to the ship's mast so he could hear the sirens, but not be able to break free when mesmerized. His men would know when it was safe, because they could see Odysseus was calm again.
I will be the first one to say jump headfirst into the mystery, but remember not to worship a Muse; it's stupid and foolish to do so.
Be inspired...
Be awakened...
Be overwhelmed...
Remember, it comes to inspire not to be admired...

Moonlight flashes like lightning across hidden waters
Raging tides awaken like the rolling thunder...
Mysteriously suspended in this licorice sky
The moon mesmerizes the crashing tide...
The ebb and flow of her tide awakens the moon's hunger...
Like enchanting eyes hidden behind silk-woven wonder
The dawn appears and the moon hides his face
The tide stays still...
Like enchanting eyes hidden behind moonlit lace
Will the moon return to his hidden waters?
Will he awaken the raging tides?
Like the first time he truly saw her eyes...
